A day to explore the challenges of AI
See you on Tuesday, February 11 from 9:30 a.m.
The École normale supérieure is gearing up for the Summit for Action on AI. Organized by Anne Bouverot, the president of the board of directors, the event will feature participating researchers on the Summit's Scientific Days. It will also host AI and society side events on February 11th, in conjunction with the AI in the city @ ENS day.

AI and sustainable development goals, Ethics of AI research, AI and education, AI against cyberviolence... These are just a handful of the many topics which will be addressed throughout a day of round-tables and workshops with universities, think tanks and NGOs, government organizations and companies from all over the world. These groups have come to Paris for the Summit to reflect on the governance of AI and its social impact.
On this occasion, the École normale supérieure will also organize a "Student Parliament" on AI during the Summit, which will offer students the opportunity to deliberate on the principles that should guide the development of AI for the common good. This event will be the starting point of an international initiative to raise awareness worldwide on the topic of AI, and will also inaugurate a new international research network on AI and democracy.
This day will conclude with an ENS geopolitical think tank, “ Tuesday of the Great Continent ”, on the theme: “ The political pivot of digital technology: monopolies and democracy ”.
